Cashew Festival
Festivals in Belize have become popular events and could be found around the country at different times of the year. Here is where the locals and visitors to our beautiful jewel gather to celebrate and enjoy a variety of exotic products of the country.
Cashew
In May two of these festivals will be held in the coming weeks.
The mother of all – the Cashew festival along with the most recently rejuvenated Chocolate fest will be events to attend this month.
This very unique and incredibly tasty fruit, the Cashew could be found across the length of the country.
Whilst the nuts are the most popular globally, the Cashew fruit is used to make an array of bi-products such as marmalade, jelly, jams, juice, cake, ice-cream, wine etc.
Crooked Tree
All of these products will be put on display and will be available for sampling and purchasing at the festival held at the historic Crooked Tree Village.
This event is highly anticipated and Belizeans flock the village to enjoy not only the Cashew products but also other amazing cultural foods and music for the weekend.
We make our transfer service available for these occasions as we also promote everything Belizean. Feel free to make contact with us (501-602-9974) if you are interested in attend any of these festivities. Come and indulge in the cashew as it’s a seasonal fruit that last only a few weeks this time annually.
